In the modern world, it's not only supercars that can do the 0-60 mph in under four seconds; several family sedans can keep up with pure supercars around a racetrack. This is a testament to how far the auto industry has evolved or a sign that the supercar sector is lagging behind. Many cars can now accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.0 seconds. While everyone believes that Riviera Beach, Florida, only produces waves and beautiful sandy beaches, there's more that comes in the form of sports cars. When it was time to say goodbye to the Lamborghini Gallardo in 2013, everyone was glued to the news to see what the Italians would come up with next. The brewing storm culminated in the hurricane that was to be known as the Lamborghini Huracan, one of the fastest Lamborghinis ever made. The Hennessey Venom GT is a supercar based mainly on the Lotus Exige. Only 13 units have been produced since the car was released in 2011. Assembled close to Lotus' roots in Hethel, England, the Venom GT set a record back in 2013 for the fastest production car to go from 0-186 mph, and while it hasn't quite beaten the 0-60 mph segment, it does it in 2.4 seconds.
