The new car looks amaizing
Despite being in the media constantly, Elon Musk continues innovation in his companies. The most recent one belongs to his luxury electric car company, Tesla, which focuses on the use of cleaner energy and 100% technological dependable vehicles.
Tesla announced that in 2023 it will launch the new Roadster which will be the best and fastest electric car circulating in the world so far, capable of going from zero to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds, a feat even supercars and hypercar models of this type have not achieved yet, according to the company’s official website.
The first Roadster was launched back in 2008, causing huge interest among car fanatics because it was the first battery electric vehicle (BEV) to use lithium-ion battery cells and achieve a range of 200 miles per battery charge.
Elon first talked about an upgraded version in 2011, then proposed to launch the new generation in 2014, but the launch announcement was officially made in 2017. However, manufacturing ran into production problems due to shortages in the supply chain. Therefore, the new Tesla Roadster model will be launched in 2023, with a big promise to be the fastest in the world.
“2021 has been the year of a super crazy supply chain shortage. So it wouldn’t matter if we had 17 new products, as none would ship. Assuming 2022 isn’t a big drama, the new Roadster should ship in 2023,” Musk said on his Twitter account last year.
The second-generation Roadster is probably the most advanced car in the industry in terms of function and technology, with a much more reasonable price tag.
This ability to reach 96.5 km/h in 1.9 seconds would make it a faster car than others available such as the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, priced at $4.1 million; the Aston Martin Valkyrie, estimated at $3 million; and the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, priced at $625,000.
