The automobile industry has steadily been heading towards normalcy as evidenced by the slew of new cars and motorcycles that have been introduced in recent times as well as the sales figures.

The big story this month is the global premiere of the Kia Sonet, which will become Kia's third product in India joining the Seltos and Carnival and will lock horns with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300. Our Top Story brings you all the details on the upcoming SUV. Our First Drive section this month is dominated by luxury cars including Mercedes-Benz's GLE and GLS SUVs along with BMW's flagship M car, the 600bhp M8. We get behind the wheel of the VW Polo that now comes with a new turbocharged petrol engine, as well as the Skoda Superb which also gets a new turbo petrol motor along with cosmetic updates outside and inside. The all-new Honda City goes head-to-head with the refreshed Hyundai Verna in our comprehensive road test as well find out which of the two is the better choice.
